Last updated: 26 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information I collect through alfielloydmarketing.com, why I collect it and what rights you have over it.
Who I am
Alfie Lloyd Marketing is run by Alfie Lloyd, a freelance paid media specialist based in Shropshire, UK. I am the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact me about anything in it at hello@alfielloydmarketing.com.

-
Email and WhatsApp: your name, contact details and the content of your messages if you contact me directly.

-
Website use: if you accept analytics cookies, information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, device type and approximate location. See the cookies section below.
I don't collect special category data, and the site isn't aimed at children.
How I use your information

Delivering paid media services and invoicing (client work details). Lawful basis: performance of a contract.

I don't sell your information, and I don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask me to.
Who I share it with
I only share information with services that help me run the website and the business:
-
Wix, which hosts the website and stores enquiry form submissions.
-
Google (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft (Clarity), which provide website analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
-
Usercentrics, which runs the cookie consent banner and records your choice.
-
My email and messaging providers, including WhatsApp if you contact me there.
-
My accountant or HMRC, where needed for tax and legal reasons.
Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy terms and data protection agreements.
Cookies
When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Analytics tools only load if you click Accept; if you click Deny, only essential cookies are used.
-
Essential cookies keep the site working and remember your cookie choice. These can't be turned off.
-
Analytics cookies come from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. They show how visitors use the site. Clarity can record anonymised clicks, scrolls and mouse movements, but not what you type into the form.
You can change your choice at any time by using the cookie settings link on the site or by clearing cookies in your browser.
How long I keep your information
-
Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 12 months after our last contact, then deleted.
-
Client and invoicing records: 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as HMRC requires.
-
Analytics data: according to each provider's retention settings, typically 14 months for Google Analytics.
International transfers
Some of the providers above, including Wix, Google and Microsoft, may process data outside the UK, mainly in the United States. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Security
I use reputable providers, secure passwords and two-factor authentication on the accounts that hold your information, and I limit access to what's needed to do the work.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
-
ask for a copy of the information I hold about you
-
ask me to correct anything that's wrong
-
ask me to delete your information
-
object to or ask me to restrict how I use it
-
ask me to send your information to another organisation
-
withdraw your cookie consent at any time
Email hello@alfielloydmarketing.com to use any of these rights. I'll reply within one month and won't charge you.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
I'll update this page if the way I handle personal information changes, for example if I add new advertising tools to the site. This version was last updated on 26 October 2026.
